Hey guys, just to give everyone a heads up, I'm just finishing up a video on Fire Emblem Warriors for the Switch which should go online tomorrow and then I'm jumping over to Ace Combat 7. Had a chance to interview Kazutoki Kono so it should be an interesting one. Any Ace Combat fans here?

I believe we also have a video on Spider-Man coming up as well as some cool new surprises for Patreon subscribers!

Regarding DF Retro - I'm hoping to tackle those Doom ports as the next episode as I've managed to track down a SNES copy of the game. Now I have all of the official console ports ready to go!

Soul Reaver, Resident Evil, the Atari Jaguar and a lot more are on the cards!

OOOHHHH can't wait for that Spider-Man video! Perhaps can get some hard info about the specs of their rendering and maybe some actual good quality video? Gamersyde posted a "high quality" version of the E3 demo but there're still compression artifacts out the wazoo.

I'm a huge Ace Combat fan! Ace Combat was one of the first games that truly amazed me in that "OMG it looks so photo-realistic" kind of way. Of course I could see that the nature of the game made that possible, and that the environments left a lot of be desired in the earlier games - but this improved greatly over time. I have fond memories of playing AC with my brothers - we all wanted to be top gun, and till this day the jets of 80's movies are my favorites. F-4 Phantoms, F-14D Tomcat, F-15E Strike Eagle, F16A Fighting Falcon.... Oh the memories. I can't wait for AC7 and hope that we will get 4K upgrades for XPro.

Great to see the AC love! While AC7 still has some performance issues, the game itself is shaping up to be awesome. I really enjoyed it! Even better, Mr. Kono promised that the composer from AC5 and Zero is back and has a really great piece of music reserved for the final mission. ;)

I think we're still a little limited there. I wasn't able to capture Spider-Man at E3 when I attended the BCD session. :( I'm not sure what the asset Dave is working with looks like. It's just kind of a basic chat for now since there isn't a lot known. The Insomniac guys I spoke with were all story or gameplay guys, not tech guys.
