Hi everyone, quite a lot going on this week, but as always, we need your input on the next episode of DF Direct Weekly! We'll be talking about the latest upgrades for No Man's Sky, reacting to Level1Techs' damning video on 13th and 14th generation Intel Core processors, and sharing our thoughts on the news that GeForce Now cloud streaming looks to be integrated into the Xbox platform.

And there's more! Alongside some topics that may or may not make the final cut (eg poor sales of iOS triple-A games), John will be sharing some of the initial work we're doing on our big PlayStation vs Saturn DF Retro face-off! I've been helping out a bit on this one, but the intention of this one is to bring together some of the most interesting cross-platform games of the fifth generation and to apply today's DF methodology to those head-to-heads.

Alex has more to share on how Unreal Engine is improving, and also wants to talk about some of the latest AMD GPU Open presentations. Somewhat random perhaps, but he's also keen to talk about the PC version of Gears of War Ultimate Edition!

But is there anything else you'd like to be covered in the news section? Do let me know. Failing that, please make use of that empty space below to chime in with your questions for Supporter Q+A! Have a great day!

Hi DF! Long-time watcher, first-time commenter. Question for John: Given your love of old-school racing games, d'you have any thoughts on the appropriately titled Old School Rally that just launched on Steam in Early Access? Barring that, is Sega Racing Classic 2 via Like a Dragon Gaiden still the best way to scratch this specific itch in 2024? Cheers. P.S. You're a real one for featuring Ys X: Nordics in your GotY list for 2023.

Did you check out Nobody Wants a Die? This is a UE5 (of course) game made by a smal Polish team, but with superb production values and great neo-noir atmosphere. Hope you will talk about it, as it came under the radar due to zero marketing.
