As promised in the last post, we started Control this week and holy SHIT, it is immediately grabbing us. I love it, but I especially am just a huge fan of weird suit-wearing g-man types running shady organizations (as you can maybe tell even in this very page). Please, no spoilers yet, we're about maybe 3 "chapters" in I'd say. Now I'm REALLY interested in how this connects to Alan Wake, though we're pretty sure we have an idea now.

Also, as I'm writing this post, today is me and Leslie's 10 year wedding anniversary! It's kind of really hard to believe that it's been a whole decade already! In these past 10 years, we:

• Started Rock Cocks and created 1050 pages of it as of today (not even including pin ups and bonus comics)
• Finished our first comic, Blaster Nation
• Lived in 3 different apartments across Louisiana and Kentucky
• Bought a house
• Had 2 dogs and 2 cats
• Evacuated from 2 major hurricanes
• Started and finished the entirety of Final Fantasy XIV together

And yet, it feels like no time has passed at all. All these things have happened, and yet it feels like just yesterday we were married. We've been together even longer than that, of course. We've actually been together for 15 years, if you can believe it! But to think that we've been married for 10 of them is kind of crazy. We're extremely lucky to have each other, and of course to have you. Thank you all so much.

To commemorate the occasion, we'll be watching Jason X, the tenth Friday the 13th movie. The one where he goes to space. We'll also be getting some burgers, because I proposed to Leslie shortly after a McDonalds lunch back when they still had a dollar menu. This is peak fucking romance for us.
