We're making this week's episode available early for all Patrons. Thanks for your support!

David, Jeff, and Devindra discuss the catastrophic launch of (HBO) Max, the ephemeral world of streaming, the work of Late-Stage Arnold Schwarzenegger, and how it's difficult at certain life stages to make friends of the opposite gender that are purely Platonic. Then it's time to dive into the new remake of The Little Mermaid.

As a longtime non-US listener and patreon I’d just like to point out that all the (HBO) Max content in the podcast is not particularly interesting for us since, unlike Netflix and Disney+, this service is only available in the US and Latin America. I’m referring to the service itself not the shows which are on it, like Barry, Succession and HOTD which here in Australia are licensed to Foxtel/Binge. Not complaining just providing some “constructive customer feedback”. The rest of the episode was excellent as always.

You guys forgot the live-action Pete’s Dragon from 2016. It was really good. It made me cry.
