Hi Gents I recently watched Crawl after your discussion of it on the pod and was thoroughly entertained by the classic "commoner stuck in a ridonculous situation" premise. This led me to a train of thought that the way these movies are made (i.e, mostly practical stunts, in-camera effects and a protaganist taking what appears to be real damage) ultimately leads to their stickability in our minds. Looks like Crawl was a financial success too. Is this the main reason most modern actioners or thrillers lack memorability?

Dave, how is your TV doing? A remember a couple years ago you talked about getting an LG OLED TV. I've been looking to get an OLED for awhile now, but heard that the potential for screen burn after a couple years is pretty major. Seeing any of this on yours? Also, what device to you guys use to watch 4K blu-rays to get the most out of the medium? Also also, any chance there will be /filmcast merch in the near future? I'd love to have a mug or t-shirt or enamel pin from my favorite podcast! Thanks!
