How are you doing my beautiful people?

I had an interesting week...Health wise, I'm still tired for some reason, so I turned off my alarm clock, hoping that my body will know how much sleep it needs and I can work around that to both, be productive and get some social interaction.

I finally saw "Dune part two" yesterday. I absolutely LOVED it. It was way more satisfying than the underwhelming "Ghostbusters Frozen Empire" I saw last weekend. Denis Villeneuve might simply be the best working director at the moment. The Quebecker in me is quite proud of the man.

As for my actual job, It was a bit of a rollercoaster, being distraught on Monday, Satisfied with the extra page on Tuesday. Decided to add in a whole new scene on Wednesday. Realising that I'd have to rewrite the whole second half of the issue on Thursday. Completing one of my absolutely best pinup on Friday and finally putting the first draft of the new script on paper today. I am quite please with my performance even if I only had one pinup to show for.

This week

I sent the first draft to Ferawyn today, and I assume we'll be going through a bit of a back and forth before I finalize my script. So drawing wise, I'll start with a pinup, and hope to be able to go back to drawing pages by the end of the week. But we'll see how the process goes. Ferawyn is a great partner to have, and a way better writer than I am... But it is ultimately my comic and I gotta remind myself that everyday. It's easy for me to doubt my self every time we disagree.

Oh, and I gotta remember to keep a few minutes free tomorrow afternoon so I can go watch the full solar eclipse my part of the world will experience. I was a kid the last time a partial eclipse happened around here, and the sky was so grey, we didn't see a thing... it would be a shame to miss it this time around. It's a once in a life time event.
