Ragna crushed King Eric the Cruel to become Queen. She distrusted the males and understood they would eventually betray her. Along side her best friend and right hand woman Valda, they strategically amassed and trained female warriors who would issue challenges of trial by combat to systematically crush all ranking males out of power.

Males are kept at their weakest to live out their lives as servants with the  exception of the unfortunate few. Those unfortunate few are well fed and cared for however most are often crushed by newly trained female warriors during the “Trial of Right to Passage“ to become  Vikings.
