If I'm in a wheel chair and I can't tie my shoes, I just don't tie my shoes and try not to roll over the laces

The point of the Nike Self Lacing shoes in the NBA is dynamic lacing. Some of the most damaging and career limiting injuries that happen in basketball are compound fractures and arthritic feet which create chronic pain. To better deal with the feet injuring forces of fancy basketball moves the Nike self lacing shoes are supposed to over tighten while a player moves and auto loosen to reduce swelling and increase blood flow when the basketball player slows down or is benched. The fact Nike software Bricked the shoes almost immediately after release makes me doubt there quality though.
