UPDATE // goodbye, summer! (Patreon)

August has come to an end! That means that summer is almost over here in europe. To be honest, I am relieved because I am so sick of mosquitoes, flies, and sticky heat :') Autumn is my favorite season, so I’m excited to drink pumpkin spice lattés and put decorative gourds in my front lawn. It’s my season to thrive!

Here’s a little review of how this month has gone for me:

PAINT-OVER TUTORIAL
This month, I once again made a tutorial that featured paint-overs. I really enjoy this format, because I think that it helps me illustrate my point in a much stronger way than if I were to make a demo myself from scratch. I want to make a whole series of paint-over tutorials, ranging from topics like hair, anatomy, colors, compositions, and so on. If there’s ever anything that you specifically struggle with drawing, and you’re open to having me do a paint-over, don’t hesitate to reach out and share your artwork with me! Any ideas on future paint-over tutorials are welcome!

PAUSING THE PATREON
I came to the difficult decision to pause the Patreon in September. If you missed it, you can find a post about that here. In the course of this month, my arm pain has been flaring up quite a lot. It became particularly worrisome when it still hurt after a weekend of rest. It’s doing a lot better now, but in order for it to fully heal, I need to take a longer break. I’m really grateful for all of the support that I’ve gotten in the comments of my post about this, and I just really hope that you’ll stick around for my return in October! Not only will I be back with new content, but it’s my favorite month of the year: the month of my birthday, LBX, and, of course, Halloween! In the meantime, I hope you all have an amazing September. I will still be around to answer comments and DM’s, so don’t hesitate to reach out in that time!
