LATEST TUTORIAL // DRAWING A STYLIZED PORTRAIT IN PROCREATE 

I posted the latest tutorial earlier this week, and it's about my Procreate workflow - by popular demand! I really enjoyed putting this one together. It's a bit more of an informal draw-with-me format where you can draw along from the same reference photo and try the same techniques! I've already seen some beautiful results on social media. Since it's my latest tutorial, it will be available on the $5 spark tier for another month! After that, it goes to the backlog, along with 36 other tutorials which you can access for $10. 

JUNE DRAWING CHALLENGE // HANDS

LAST MONTH'S ART //

Last month I spent a lot of time in my sketchbook making rougher art! I always find that to be the most soothing when I'm feeling stressed or not ready to take on larger projects. I also made some mermaid art, which is the perfect subject for May, don't you think? If you want to check out my latest artwork, feel free to browse the sketches and studies tag! I also posted the process video for my "waiting" painting. I use an interesting technique for this one where I start with a little perspective grid before drawing in the sketch. You can get access to it for just $5! 

DISCORD COMMUNITY

The discord community is my little home on the web. This month we shared our mermaid art and our blue art in the weekly discussion threads, and also discussed our favorite traditional media. We also did a figure drawing session run by our lovely mod Sabina in which we drew hands! Here’s the artwork I made during that session:
