Here's a little resource video about this month’s challenge! In this video, I do a quick review of the artwork posted in the discord, walk you through my process for creating the artwork for this challenge, and discuss common mistakes and tips for making hand studies like these in the future!

Wow, I learnt so much from the process video, not only on individual techniques (like using the feathered lasso to quickly give different skin colour variations on the base colour), but also holistically how one might approach a study -- to look at inspiration, analyse elements, try to integrate. I also liked seeing how it was a process of experimentation, the parts that didn't quite work and Loish had to backtrack... for me that's equally valuable just to watch a process unfold. many thanks, I'm going to give the hands another try!

1. Look to the left side where it says "Loish, Paid member" under Memberships. Click that so it'll lead you to Loish's main page. 2. You'll see three tabs, Home, Membership, and About, in the middle. Click the middle, "Membership". 3. Scroll down until you see the bold Heading that says, Quick Links. You will see Discord. Click connect.

Watching this helped. I always love your chunky shadow shapes that don’t blend too much. And see you use a bit of the erase gradual to get some soft and some hard edges.
