UPDATE // last post before the launch of the new tier! (Patreon)

September was honestly a blur for me, it just flew by! I was so busy working on the new discord community and getting everything ready for the new tier. I have to be honest and say that I am so nervous for the launch! I'm glad I already officially announced the launch date, because otherwise I would be tempted to just keep pushing the date further away and procrastinate forever. But now everything is ready and it's really going to happen :') aahhhhhh!!! 

Here's a little overview of how this month has gone for me: 

MINDSET-FOCUSED TUTORIAL

This month, I created the second tutorial I’ve ever made that focuses more on mindset. The first one was about using your creative spark, and this month’s tutorial is about overcoming a lack of time and energy for your art. I truly enjoy making tutorials about this theme because the pyschology behind creating art really fascinates me. I feel like it’s just as important as learning about new tools and techniques, and I also feel like there are not enough resources out there for the mental health of artists. It feels like a huge privilege to be able to make this type of content for you all! Although I will also be making more technique-focused tutorials in the future, I’m really excited to make more mindset-based ones as well. If there are specific themes you’d like me to address, feel free to let me know through a comment or DM! 

LAST MONTH BEFORE THE NEW TIER STRUCTURE

As you probably know from my previous posts, I will be launching a new patreon tier structure on October 2nd! This was the last month of having just one $5 tier, which was the system that I had for almost three years. It’s very scary to make such huge changes to this patreon, but I really feel a strong need to create more of an interactive community space for patrons to share their work and discuss art. That’s something which is really missing with the single tier and it was starting to bother me more and more. Now that the discord community is ready, I can’t wait to launch this new tier and hopefully see you there! I will be creating an announcement post when the new tier is live, so you can join the discord and upgrade to the higher tier if you want to. I will include instructions on how to do that in the upcoming post, so keep your eyes open for it on October 2nd!
