My first drawing of 2022! Gotta get back into it after taking a few weeks off for the holidays and doing a bunch of boring tasks that I needed to get out of the way. Here’s a very red drawing, trying to play around with a harsher color combination than I usually do! How is your year going so far? Have you made some new drawings yet?

If I look at this with my glasses off, I feel like there’s more red in the picture than there is with my corrected vision… but my eyes also sneak in more white highlights than there are in reality. And with my glasses off the background gradient sticks out more. I feel very rewarded for looking deeper at this one, even if at first glance it’s a bit uncomfortable.

I really love the bold background contrasting with the grayscale of the girl. Also the robins are such a cute touch 😍

Happy new year!! Wow. Seems so different from your usual style. In love it! I bought the max pack watercolour brush set on sale and have been playing around with that. Definately fun figuring out a new way to paint

This is amazing! And I love intense red in paintings. My year started off a few days ago, trying to reignite the flame that has almost gone out in the last two years. So far, so good, with little drawings every day and 3 finished paintings

Amazing work !! I love the contrast of colors and the shapes! For 2022 I decided to stop pressuring myself over producing but doing art I want and learning instead of focusing on mistakes done ^^ So I bought a course and I am doing the Inktober52!

Oooh I LOVE the contrast! I've always been afraid to use bold colors for backgrounds, but this looks amazing! For 2022 I'm trying to sketch more rather than trying to complete as many finished pieces as possible. My goal is to sketch at least one thing a day. So far I've done a male head study thanks to your tutorial and I'm super happy with them! :)

I love this!! So angular and beautiful. In lieu of your last instagram post, do you think you would ever do a tree tutorial? I really struggle with them and understanding how to get movement and liveliness in trees, let alone understand their construction

Oh my, this is sooo beautiful! There is something special in this one, that just keeps me staring in the eye of this girl. She has a piercing gaze, that's for sure! It also looks a little different stylistically from your other girls. Great start of the year!
