UPDATE // winter is almost here! (Patreon)

It's the last day of November! I can't believe autumn is almost over. It flew by in a blur! Fortunately I did get some good forest walks and pumpkin spice lattes in to remember it by. Here's a little review of how this month has gone for me:

KICKSTARTER ENDED

The Kickstarter for my new artbook finally closed on November 10th. The support was overwhelming and I was so grateful! It was also a huge relief to be able to close that chapter and focus on other things, since it demanded so much of my time and energy. My publisher and I are currently working on the page layouts and finalizing the content of the book, and will send it out to print early next month. After that, my work on the book is done! 3Dtotal handles the rest: printing the book, adding the extra goodies to the packages, and fulfilling all the orders. I’m so grateful for that arrangement because it means I can focus on my own work now! I’ve been working on this artbook for so long that I almost can’t imagine what it’s like to not have to worry about that anymore. I’m excited to have that headspace and time again.

PLANS FOR 2022

Next year, I’ll be adding a new tier to this Patreon. Many of you have said that you would like to get monthly assignments, draw-with-me videos, and a discord environment to share your work in; basically, a more interactive learning environment to apply the knowledge I share here on Patreon. I love this idea and wasn’t able to implement it for a long time because I just didn’t have the time to set all of that up, but now that the book is almost done, I can finally get started on that! I’m going to be researching the options and figuring out how to set that up in the coming month. If you have any tips or advice when it comes to setting up a discord, or just any ideas in general for this new tier, feel free to post them below or send a DM! I’d love to hear any input you might have!
