The time has come for this obnoxious meme, once again:

One of my favorite months ~ hoping for lots of sun and warmth like last year! Here’s a quick review of how this month went for me:

LECTURES & DEMOS

This patreon is turning more and more into an archive of resources! There’s 11 tutorials by now, plus a bunch of walkthroughs and tips. I’ve decided to also start uploading lectures and live demonstrations I’ve done in the past, so that you guys also get exclusive access to those after they’ve been streamed. I uploaded the Pixelatl demo this month, and soon I’ll also post my recent lecture on monetizing social media for artists (just waiting on the file and captions at the moment)! I figure these will supplement the tutorials and other resources nicely!

TUTORIAL

Last february, I posted a poll with tutorial ideas, and a lot of people said that they’d like to see all of them made. So I’m going through the topics one by one, and I love how varied they are. Next month’s tutorial will be on drawing hands and feet, so if you have any specific suggestions for that one, drop it below! Your ideas are always a great guide when coming up with the tutorial content!

As always, thanks so much for your support! I'll be sending out links to this month's google drive folder today. If you have any feedback or questions, please feel free to share them with me here or e-mail to loishh@gmail.com. Any and all feedback is welcome! I hope you’ll continue to be my patron and enjoy the content coming up next month! ❤

I still need to learn drawing in perspective (both characters and environments), and shape design in painting. Any type of tutorials related to those would be very helpful.

Hi, thank you for all the wonderful resources. I hope for the hands and feet to see how to approach them in different angles, poses, perspectives. :D

Thank you for all the awesomeness this month, as well, Lois! Love everything you've shared with us and I'm always so grateful for all your insights and snippets into your work. I can't wait for the hands + feet tutorial coming up next month. <3 I don't have a specific suggestion, but more of a cluster of questions around how to best approach this subject for the first time (i.e. when to focus on gesture, when to dive into anatomy, how to split your practice time between the two, stylization vs realism, and generally any tips on taking away some of the overwhelm from this topic).

Excellent topic!!! I've just bought a hand model which is so not anatomically correct... So this would be a massive help 😁 Love your work and patreon as always 👍

Loish
