Hey guys! Just a quick message to let you guys know that I'm almost done with this month's tutorial, which is about making your sketches presentable in a quick & efficient way. This is the end result of the tutorial ~ the second image is the rough sketch and the first one is the 'presentable' sketch! I'll show you how I got from point A to point B in the tutorial, but first I have to render it out and get some captions made. You'll see it posted next week! For now, have an amazing weekend!!

It's like everytime you can read my mind!! I've just been absorbing all your videos and started to do a lot of rough sketches while following your tutorials, so this will be so essential for me! Thank you very much 💜

Hey Loish, do you have a screen protector on your iPad? If so, do you have the paper like or the one made of glass?

Loish

hey! I don't use a screen protector at the moment. I tried a paper-like one but it didn't work for me. I found it really distracting!

Niquey

I just bought a paperfeel one and I'm dubious. I might get rid of mine too. What about it was distracting for you?

Niquey

Excited for this!

Loish

it just felt like an annoying layer between me and the art! i think because i'm just really used to smooth surfaces. i've been using on-screen tablets for almost 10 years now so it doesn't bug me as much. i know a lot of people like the paper-like protectors though, so whatever floats your boat!

I’ll echo what Lois said here. The paper like protector annoyed me because it made my screen grainy and the texture wore down my Apple Pencil nib in a matter of days. I prefer to use the glass protectors with a silicone cover on the tip of the pencil. I get the resistance I’m looking for without sacrificing clarity.
