Winter is coming and the days are colder and shorter! I'm starting to stay in more and preparing myself for a cosy winter of tea, blankets, and digital painting. Here’s a quick review of how this month went for me:

TUTORIAL AUDIO

As I mentioned on my tutorial post, this month I decided to invest in some new audio tech to improve the quality of future tutorials. In order to remove the bass disruptions from bumping the table and get clearer audio of my voice, I got a boom arm mount for my microphone, as well as a pop filter. Moving forward, the audio should be a lot clearer and easier to listen to! I'm very excited to use it for next month's tutorial, which will be about painting & rendering in procreate!

TINY HOUSES

Most of my time this month went into creating the series of tiny house drawings. Buildings are something I really struggle with, especially when stylizing them! I can handle drawing them from reference, but as soon as I try to add my own imagination to it, it turns lumpy and loses the sense of scale. So drawing these houses was my way of trying to tackle that! I want to get more into drawing vehicles and buildings in the future and drawing these houses has taught me a lot about how I can approach it. I’ve still got a long way to go, but I’m glad I took these first steps!

As always, thanks so much for your support! I'll be sending out links to this month's google drive folder later today, when I'm done running the videos through handbrake. If you have any feedback or questions, please feel free to share them with me through a direct message or e-mail to loishh@gmail.com. Any and all feedback is welcome! I hope you’ll continue to be my patron and enjoy the content coming up next month! ❤

Will you be doing a hair drawing lesson? I remember that there was such an option in the poll, but did not win) I have problems with that) And just know that I love you and your art! You are incredible! My English is bad. Sorry.

Love your videos. Would you be willing to share how your filming set up looks? Still figuring out how to light me drawing on a screen sometimes without glare etc. 😆🥰 keep up the amazing content for patreon. It is worth every penny.
