Just a post to let you guys know that I'll be doing a live event tomorrow! A lot of stuff has been cancelled lately, which is sad because these events can be so inspiring for the artist community. 

That’s why it’s so awesome that Playgrounds festival has taken the initiative to organize a totally free online edition of their Art Department festival! It’s happening tomorrow (April 16th) and I’ll be participating too! I’m giving a talk about staying creative during these hard times, and doing a live demonstration of my drawing process. I’ll also be participating in a panel about working from home. There’s a lot of other cool stuff happening, like portfolio reviews and artist talks, so be sure to tune in!

Hey, you did a great job today on your demo. I know that your photoshop feed was lagging but my girlfriend and I followed it all just fine. It was fun watching and we can’t wait to see what you create next. Keep it up!

ahh, i'm glad you could still follow it despite the lag! i'll be doing more streams / tutorials in the future that will be a lot easier to follow hopefully.

I loved your talk! It was so sweet to hear you say you were even more nervous over video as opposed to in person, which I can also relate to 😅 and it was nice to see you stay and ask other artists insightful questions! It was so nice to all come together and have a festival in this hard time 💕

thanks haha! it was a really weird kind of nervousness because it wasn't validated by physical sensations, like actually seeing or hearing an audience. it felt like an invisible threat! but fortunately it worked out in the end.
