Hello everyone!

Let me give a little bit of a background how the Mechanoid faction works, base-wise.

At the beginning of the game, no mechanoid bases exist. None at all. Zero.

A new event should be added (if using the event system, it should be eventBad, red letter), called Mechanoid ship landed.

Event text (when letter is hovered over/clicked) should be as follows:

"A mechanoid ship belonging to [faction-name-here] has landed not far from your location.

Each ship increases the mechanoid presence on the surface, resulting in larger assault forces patrolling the area.

Destroying this ship will decrease the mechanoid presence."

These event places are permanent - as in they won’t magically go away over time. There are 5 different event types - each corresponding to the type of the ship that will generate when player enters such area. Each type of ship increases the mechanoid presence by a different amount of points. Each type of ship also has a different NameMaker.

Mechanoid Presence

Mechanoid raid power should not scale with time nor wealth. Instead, it’s directly dictated by the amount of ships landed on the planet. Ships contribute different amounts of points, as described below:

Frigate

Frigate is the small ship usually used for ground recon. It increases the Mechanoid presence by 300 points (2 Scythers worth).

Destroyer

Destroyer is somewhat bigger than a frigate, but it lacks short-range defenses. It does however host a variety of different auto-mortars. It increases the Mechanoid presence by 800 points (2 Centipedes worth).

Cruiser

Cruiser is a large sized vessel with both defensive and offensive capabilities. It increases the Mechanoid presence by 1600 points (4 Centipedes worth).

Troopship

Troopship is a medium sized shuttle with a large assortment of different mech fabricators and trooper transports. It increases the Mechanoid presence by 2000 points (5 Centipedes worth).

Carrier

The largest ship type in mechanoid arsenal, carrier is essentially described as a large mechanoid base of operations. It increases the Mechanoid presence by 3200 points (8 Centipedes worth).

Now, each of these ships has it's own NameMaker. It means that when you click it on the map, similar to how settlement names work, each ship will be called something different. The question is, how different?

Name + Code looks best. Machine-like....

Is Function + Ship Type + Code an option? Mix of the two first options.
