Hey all! Just letting everyone know that I pushed a 1.1 update to our Vanilla Events Expanded, with a changelog down below:

- Weapon drop shouldn't drop turret part anymore
- Drought shouldn't affect the VFEF growing furniture
- Space battle last less time and corpse are dropped forbidden
- New purple event : Psychic Bloom
- New event : Wild men wander in
- New event : Hunting party

Psychic Bloom could be in a little different color than normal Purple Events since it's a "positive" one, compared to others. Still, awesome idea. Hunting Party is a great feature, I just wonder if they'll appear completely randomly or there has to be some animals in the area? Wild men wander in is pretty much the same as wild woman/man wander in, just in more numbers, right? And about Long Night, I wonder if Night Owl trait could be changed for that specific event?

I wouldn't say it's a positive event, and I would not either say it's a negative one. Bear in mind all your crops turn to flowers too - no more harvesting or planting until the event is over. None of the purple events are per se negative - they just force your colony to adapt. The long night is only negative until you build other ways of generating power. Global warming is only negative until you get some cooling in your base. Wild men wander in is just a group of preneolithic wild men.

Awesome mods! Is there any plans on making it multiplayer compatible? Are you keeping it in mind during development? I am playing with friends mostly and it is sad to miss such great content.

We always try to test things with the multiplayer mod, but some things are sometimes either very hard or impossible to be made compatible. Since multiplayer isn’t part of vanilla game, we don’t treat it as a mandatory compatibility - if it’s compatible it’s great, but if it’s too hard to make it work with multiplayer we just tend to do it our way for now.
