[DEVBLOG#29] Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Quickdraw (Patreon)

Hi there everyone. I know, I know - I'm on holidays and yet I found some time to create a little expansion to your favourite weapon mod out there!

Now you probably wonder: "Oskar, since it's only 4 weapons, why not just add them to the base mod so everyone automatically downloads them?"

Let me give you two answers: First of all, the base mod already is full to the brim with weapons. I don't plan to add anymore to it - any future weapons will be optional.

Second answer sort of comes from the first - I ran out of space in the mod description on the base Vanilla Weapons Expanded.

Now, about this module:
Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Quickdraw is an addition to a popular Vanilla Expanded mod series, adding four new quickdraw weapons. These firearms allow you to quickly respond to sudden enemy encounters, as special plasteel alloys allow you to reduce the aiming time to zero. There are drawbacks however - whilst these weapons fire a little bit faster than their vanilla counterparts, the cooldown after firing the shots is slightly increased. 

Weapons that you can find in this mod are as follows:

Automatic Pistol
An advanced automatic pistol. It lacks the stopping power, but is easy to draw. Fires a three round burst.

Bullpup Rifle
An assault rifle with a magazine behing the trigger. It has good range, decent power, and good accuracy, and due to lightweight material it's also quick to draw and fire.

Bullpup DMR
A bullpup designated marksman rifle. Whilst it shares similarities with a standard bolt-action rifle, it trades off it's damage for firing two shots in quick succession. Due to lightweight material, it is quick to draw and fire.

PDW
A compact, lightweight submachine gun used as a personal defense weapon. Quick to draw and fire.
