I've got to admit this new dating app is something else. It's intention was to prevent cat fishing. The way it worked is once you have been chatting to someone for at least two weeks and bad agreed to meet you could press a button and it gave you their body. Of course there was still a risk that you could become someone who was cat fishing and pretending to be someone they are not but there was the reverse button that would instantly transform you back into yourself. And even if for some reason the reverse doesn't work the temporary gift if someone else body would revert itself after only 24 hours.

I had been chatting to one guy for over a month we had agreed to meet a few weeks back but somehow one if us was always busy. I didn't mind though. I knew I wasn't being catfished because I had used the feature on at least 15 occasions already. In fact I can't remember the last time I went to sleep or woke up in my own body. I was just more comfortable as him than I was as me. He didn't know I had used it and couldn't access the feature as he wasn't a premium user.

That was until tonight when I snapped a selfie of me in bed and sent it to him. I pretended to be asleep at first. I had gotten so used to being in his body that I didn't realise I had sent him a picture if him asleep in my bed. I was horrified when I realised what I had done. I was expecting him to freak out.

Weirdly he didn't. He said he had a feeling I had used the feature because I knew too much about him. Stuff only he should know. He knew that I was enjoying his body a little too much.

For some reason I felt a little angry that he wasn't mad about me using his body. I decided to send him another pic, flexing his muscles with the caption “felt cute might delete later xoxo”. I was intending to scare him and telling him I was going to delete the app.

He didn't get scared. He said he would upgrade to premium features but doesn't have the money too. He said it would be fun if on our first date we met and had each others bodies. Fell asleep in each others bodies and woke up together in our own bodies. I have to admit it sounded pretty got actually.

I promised I would upgrade his account for our first date. This morning he text to say he was free tonight. So was I. I was just waking up as I was transforming back into my self. I needed my own body to access the premium features and to pay to upgrade his account too so it was good timing.

A few hours later at 10am his upgrade had come through and I got the notification that someone had used the anti catfish feature in my body I knew it was him. I had a text to confirm.

Well your hotter in person than you are in your pictures (even if those pictures are if me! 😜) I know I'm not being catfished now. Still on for our date?

I hit the button to transform and then replied to his message. Sure am, look forward to meeting you (and me).

The days went smooth and ended up with a steamy session between the sheets. As planned we fell asleep in each others bodies and woke up in our own. Now that we are officially a couple and plan to get married we should probably stop using the button, but maybe we are both addicted. We actually spend more time in the wrong body than we do our own.
