Fun fact that I can finally reveal: Each of the members of Tanjiro's generation of Demon Slayers has a specific sense that is stronger than normal. Tanjiro's sense of smell, Zenitsu's sense of hearing, Inosuke's sense of touch, Kanao's sense of sight (Tanjiro mentions it during their rehab training), and Genya's sense of taste

I equate Demon Slayer's power system to the Force in Star Wars. The DS Corps/Jedi can unlock special abilities through years of training and heroic actions (some being more gifted than others). The demons/Sith have an easier access to power, but at a high price (their humanity, if they had any to begin with).

So if I remember correctly Mitsuri's hair color change is exactly like Rengoku's family, whereas his family eats A LOT of Shrimp Tempura and eventually changes their hair to that color Mitsuri ate AN EXTREME AMOUNT of Sakura Mochi which changed her hair color to what we see it as

That’s actually not true. The real reason they have blonde hair is when mamma Rengoku is pregnant they like stare at a flame or something for two hours each day or something like that In a side story Rengoku tells a child that maybe his hair is the way it is because an ancestor loved shrimp tempura
