May Content Plans (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome to May!

Last month we got to a WILD 3030 patrons, and we can't WAIT to keep bringing you as much content as we possibly can! Thank you all for the amazing show of support, this has been our biggest month of patrons since last September!!!

Following the momentum of last amazing month, here are our plans moving forward for May!

Death Note

We will be releasing the final 3 episodes of Death Note this month, and we LOVED the way this story came to a close, can't wait to share it with you all!!

OUR NEW SERIES

We have now released 2 out of the 4 pilots for the new series on youtube, and the reception has been GREAT! We will be looking at how each pilot does in their first week after coming out on Youtube, which means that the plan for Patreon this month is to release 5 episodes of the series selected, meaning episodes 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 of whichever show!!

The only issue is Code Geass comes out May 12, which means the last episode of Death Note will come out on Patreon 2 days before Code Geass comes to youtube. My plan is to have the Saturday after that be a day where we announce the result of who won out of the first 3 weeks, and on Wednesday May 17th we will release ep 2 of whichever show won out of the first 3. Then, if Code Geass beats that top choice of the 3 on youtube by May 19th, we will switch to Code Geass.

Basically put, you Code Geass fans will get a fair shake at a week of engagement, and you all don't have to have a week without posting while decide between the 4. Hope that makes sense, and comment below if you need any clarifications! We are SO excited about all of these choices!

Owl House

We will be releasing Season 2 episodes 13, 14, 15, 16, & 17 of the Owl House this month, and we can't WAIT to watch more of the new season!

Demon Slayer

We have been LOVING the new episodes of Demon Slayer we have been watching, and our plan this coming month is to KEEP ON GOING! Episodes 16, 17, 18, & 19 of Demon Slayer are coming this month!

Attack on Titan

I have no idea HOW, but the DUB STILL hasn't come out for Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 Part 1 half a billion trillion partsx20 + ratio, but IM CHECKING EVERY DAY AT DAWN TO TRY TO FIND IT. Hopefully we get it this month, but GOD is this agonizing. If it is posted this month, we will post our reaction here!!!

So, with these plans it means we will be releasing 17+ episodes this month, and we are so excited to share them with you all! With all these plans being said, Montana and I are getting closer to our Wedding and the workload is beginning to grow, so while I hope we have time to do all of this, I will keep you posted if anything changes! You all continue to inspire us with your support, and I can't wait to bring you all more content this month!

Really hopeful for code geass, the only one I would be "sad" about would be MHA because kenny has already seen it and the turn around time to catch up would take forever compared to like csm with what, 12 eps or jjk in the 20s. Either which way I'm sure it will turn out.

A couple voice actors for aot have said they started recording around 3 or 4 weeks ago, so it should be soon

Also random tip: you guys should check out the trailer for the netflix live action adaptation of death note to give Montana a laugh and show her why anime is superior and translating a story, even with a massive budget, to live action becomes so weird.

that is a very lazy excuse. like what? if they say they are just lazy, ok. but saying that it is hard is a long stretch. Hard enough to hinder their own experiences? It is sad to see them react to lesser versions of very good shows, some of them are very disgusting to hear. They are waiting for the new attack on titan dub, are you telling me they simply can't watch the sub? I mean, they already watched the whole show in english, but whatever. When I found their channel, I heard they had a reason for reacting only to dubs. But the more I think, I can't find a reason. They can say they have ADHD or something like that but I guarantee they can read subtitles. I thought it was because of copyright or something like that but most channels out there are doing in japanese so I really can't find a reason other than some crazy specific condition or just lazyness. I live in brazil and most people I see that watch things in brazillian dub (which 99% of the times is AWFUL), they watch this way because they are just too lazy to read. I understand watching shows with subtitles makes you have to look to the subtitles and maybe your eyes are not always on the scene, but that is just lazyness. For letts react: I will say it again, all the shows you are watching in dub are significantly better in the original version, no matter how great the internet says the dub is. The whole vibe of a show can change based on that alone. Characters become more numb and are less remarkable because of that too. Please consider watching shows on their original audio. Go watch lelouch giving his order in japanese. Compare armin in english and in japanese. That should already be enough to take a moment to think. Please hear grisha's voice actor going absolutely crazy in the last episodes he is in. I recently saw studio gek comparing sub vs dub versions of attack on titan, and the results are obvious. They watched the whole show in japanese, so when presented with the english version, it is just disgusting to hear.

Right after commenting that I just want to delete it because I feel you will take my comment as something bad, maybe too aggressive, and because I think that it will achieve nothing. However I will leave it there in hopes you think about some things I have said and maybe one day start reacting to shows on their original audio.

both kenny and montana have audio processing disorders; it goes beyond just being hard for them, it's borderline impossible without pausing every time the dialogue changes. (source: i also have an audio processing disorder, but in the opposite direction, where i cant watch anything, even in the languages i do speak, without subtitles) i understand it can be very disappointing but have a little sympathy

What? I understand you left a comment saying you were sorry for what you said ,but thats ALOT to be sorry for? I have an auditory processing disorder that is not adhd and it just doesnt have another name and I, and both kenny and montana are not lazy in anyway. Its really hard to watch something and read the subtitles for that reason. For example: Imagine everytime you would try to read the subtitles, a hazy screen would kind of cover the video. Well you could just listen to the show OH WAIT you dont understand japanese. You do not know what someone is strugling with so its quite insensitive to just call them lazy and pressure them to do something that would severely lower the quality of the content they work hard to make. And in my opinion its kinda weird to be mad about what a YOUTUBER is deciding to do on THEIR channel. Really hope you learned something because someone else actually might take it to heart...

The Attack on Titan dub situation is particularly annoying as there's been no announcement still and that means the finale OF THE BIGGEST ANIME OF THIS DECADE is gonna be delayed for the dub a few months likely. Especially since all anime streaming and dubbing is owned by Sony now. The idea of them buying out the competition was to make things better but this is a really poor look. It's especially weird as new airing shows are receiving dubs 2 weeks behind but AOT hasn't yet. I really don't know what the holdup is, it's like equally illogical and annoying.

I'd love them to watch the movie, I guess it's time consuming but personally I've offered at least somewhere and hopefully he's seen it if they watch on their own time and record and do a lil anime vs movie chat I'd edit it personally as a fan and if it's crap oh well they can not release and enjoy the film if it's good, bonus video. But I think movies are long to watch ATM, or maybe comment went unseen.

I'm curious now cause I've heard it alot but these explanation have me a lil confused. It's audio processing so is it an issue reading the text because there's also audio, like they wouldn't be able, or you wouldn't be able to read a book and listen to music because the music is playing? That seems to be what you're saying but I'm honestly curious what it is. Or is it more reading text with moving images is difficult? Thanks

I feel like we're getting into really gross "prove your disability to me or I can't accept it" territory. They were asked repeatedly, they've answered the question, and maybe we can just move on and either accept that they will always watch dub or just not watch. Not directed at anyone, despite Patreon requiring that we respond to someone's comment in particular, just a thought.

I don't actually think the movie is good so I wouldn't want to subject anyone to that but I do think it would be funny to give them both or possibly just Montana if Kenny is already familiar with how bad western adaptations can sometimes be.

they do not have a disability. they can do sub reactions. They 100% can do that. If they couldnt, they would not be able to travel the world or watch ANY content with subtitles.

I'm thinking this man's super misinformed and not intentionally being as rude as he is. I don't know a easy way to explain this that you can understand, they have a condition it's like asking an asthmatic to run. I'm not super informed on these conditions myself but maybe you can understand my point since I'm not. They can't watch full shows in sub. It's an impossibility.

I assume that wasn't at me frost but I just wanna clarify in case I was purely curious since it was brought up in expanding my information since someone in the thread mentioned they had the same condition I think and was hoping they'd answer my questions and give me a better understanding. I assume it's at the other man but in case my intention was purely to understand not downgrade anything :)

I don't think it's horrible but it's a good idea IMO since Kenny mentioned wanting to do MCU @Kenny and if he were to bring in someone (hand up) to edit a film like Death Note or Avatar that's both good content, views and an easy transition from anime to film by reacting to anime film adaptions then also Demon Slayer, Your Name and I guess Iron Man 1. Anyways they can do whatever they want but I'd totally have a crack at editing films for Kenny AND would love to do one of the anime adaptions first. Maybe he will see this and consider doing movie reactions in future. After the wedding and such and they have time!
