Really hope Steven Universe gets the nod after this, it’s a great show. Edit: I like how Mark doesn’t do the whole “beats up his bully now that he has super powers” thing that a lot of teen superhero comics indulge in. He knows it would be irresponsible and reckless to hit Todd so he makes his statement a different way. He’s a really good kid, Debbie clearly brought him up right.

the comic book series has been out in 2003, and the creator of King of the hill and Robert Kirkman are huge fans of each other, so Bobby would occasionally be shown with an Invincible comic or an action figure and Kirkman would design one of the federal agents off of Bobby as an adult

I recommend "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End". This show is really good and has received a lot of positive attention. Without spoiling anything, the show has great characters, great themes and a great story. ||Side note: if you guys were to choose this show, the first 4 episodes came out together and its recommended to watch these together, though it's not required|| I also recommend "The Apothecary Diaries" for the same reasons, however, this show has more "mystery/drama" in it and isn't the typical shounen, action packed anime, but it's still very interesting. Nonetheless, both of the shows i've recommended were popping off when they were airing (around fall of 2023), have a great well written female lead (imo of course), beautiful animation AND an amazing english dub cast.

44:50 - I think actually you gotta give props to the cops in this universe, they're unrealistically brave and good at their jobs. Why keep shooting at him? To keep him busy. It's not gonna take him down, but if they were not shooting at him, he could make another hole in a skyscraper and kill who knows how many civillians. They're distracting him until a superhero arrives and they're risking their lives out in the open to do so. They're making themselves a target. Very much not how cops act in real life in situations that are not even 10% this scary. Real cops would be hiding 3 blocks down and scrolling on their phones while innocents get mowed down.
