Okay final question. So I'm going to be reacting to both BSG and Lost Girl. Would you guys like to have subtitles with the reaction or not? Like should I add the subs to the episodes? It makes no difference to me. I can add them or not add them. I personally watch it without subs but i have to convert the files anyway so adding the subs for you guys is very easy. Let me know :)

I grew up with subtitles everywhere since we had so much media in other languages, and our language region was too small to make it economically attractive to dub everything. In other words, I'm used to them, and I even often turn them on for languages I fully understand just so I never have to guess what someone said. I fully believe it has helped me learn languages as well. With reactions especially it helps to understand the show while also listening to the reactor commenting at the same time. Downsides are that you do lose part of the image, and sometimes you will read ahead to what's being said. But to me, those come secondary to understanding.

i grew up with dubs so i positively hate subs. once they are on i read them even if i understand what's being said which means i can't focus on what's actually happening on screen plus i also read ahead which can ruin twists and jokes

I generally prefer subs for things I haven't watched many times before, especially when a reactor is rudely talking over the dialogue :P But it sometimes ends up a bit too small in the embedded view, forcing me to watch with glasses, which is annoying. Don't mind much either way.
