Good MacGyvering with the camera jig! You are completely allowed to just buy a regular jig if you need to though, it’ll probably come up again in your line of work (videoman)

it is simply so good. all the elements came together perfectly; the pre-filming, the post-filming, the placement of each ad, the music. and then we get to see how you thought about it! the insight we get into the process is so compelling!

I'm curious, was the reason you didn't go back to the hike another day because you had rented equipment for just that day or some other financial consideration, or do you consciously set a specific time box for certain things in order to manage all of your different projects amongst each other?

This was so cool! Would you be down to share which hiking trail? Not to crash your spot, it just looks sick. (My personal favorite is the Santa Ynez Canyon, which I get to through Topanga, but also has a Palisades entrance. It’s unmaintained and the normal creek has grown a whole lot due to the rain. A few chunks of the trail have been washed away, and the last part, which is usually just walking in the creek bed, was not viable. I was almost to the waterfall at the end, but went off alone to try to find an alternate route up on the side— ground gave out under me and I got pretty messed up, lol. Anyway, good on you for heeding the peligroso)

I have a hard time picking favorites in general. I really like a lot of your stuff but MAN this is an easy pick to one of my favorite things you’ve done. It’s so cool! The filming on screens as if actual ads was so cool. The song is so good! Not just the melody but also your lyrics are always fantastic! This video makes me so happy 💜💜💜💜💜
