November Progress Report! (Patreon)

Hello y'all! It's Progress Report Time!

THE NOVEMBER VIDEO

... will most likely be a December/January video, depending on when it makes sense to upload, because it sure is a strange video

I have recorded the song and filmed it all and am working through the edit (you can see the the out-of-context stills above), but I sadly couldn't get through the whole thing because of two reasons:

• It was Thanksgiving last week and Karen and I are traveling until Dec. 12th, so it's hard to find time to edit
• I want to make this video extremely stylized and look different from everything else I've ever made, which is fun and difficult!

So it will come out at some point (hopefully) soon!

THE DECEMBER VIDEO

... WILL be out in December and boy oh boy am I excited about it. As I previously mentioned, I've had my pal Jeremy (Nativebirds, if you'd like to watch his extremely well-edited and hilarious vids on YouTube) take the helm on editing this one!

He recently sent over a rough cut, and hoooooooooooooooooooo baby he turned my ~4ish hours of nonsense cooking footage into something very good. As someone who usually hates the videos I make of myself, I full on belly laughed at multiple parts of this video due to Jeremy's cut. I'm STOKED.

(And as a side note, thank you, Patrons, for allowing me to hire someone and pay them a good rate for their hard work! I'm so glad I can collaborate with folks like Louie and Jeremy and Jonah and Karen and actually pay them for their work, and that's all because of this Patreon!)

THE JANUARY VIDEO

... is not even a twinkle of an idea in my brain at the moment. It's been a busy couple months, so I'll either try to pick a few that I've been thinking about (a horror, a short weird song) or hope it just comes to me in the next month or so!

THE NEXT FEW WEEKS

... are WILD busy. It's the holidays, and Karen's book has been released, and we'll be in NYC all next week for her book events (most of which you can find on Karen's Twitter, but in case that site finally burns to the ground, here and here and here are the specific events if you're in NYC and want to come! There's also one more at Town Hall that hasn't been announced yet! It's gonna be a blast).

We're also at the tail end of pitching our dang show, and if all the Hollywood executives haven't gone off to their fancy holiday retreats for the winter, maybe we'll hear back about that stuff by the end of December. Mamma mia. 

But I've also got a plan for a little patron-only holiday stream, so be on the lookout for that when I'm back in December.
