Unfortunately, Thai shows are typically one season. There are some shows that are continued to a second season, but even that isn’t very common. And it’s not that they get “cancelled” or due to low viewership or anything, they just make shows to be a full story, not relying on more seasons to tell what they want. It’s kinda sad cause there are some great characters I’d love to see more of, but I guess that’s just more common there. I really liked the little speech about chicken rice at the end. You explained it soo well. I really like how, even though she has made rude comments and mistakes, Li Ming’s mom is still there and getting better. I feel like a lot of shows would have had her as the ‘ending villain’ and then have them kick her out after telling her how bad she was. But instead it’s more like actual family, where they stay and listen and some learn and some don’t, but they are still very much a part of your life. I think everyone can relate to having a family member like that, where you don’t agree with everything or have a rough history, but they are still family. I loved the conversation between Jim and Li Ming. The journey of their relationship has probably been one of my favorites throughout the show. The thing I do really like about Gaipa and Alan is that they didn’t just rush something, they kinda just left it up to interpretation or to whatever the audience thinks might happen later. Also, something I saw about them made it sooo sweet to me. I saw someone mention that Mrs. Hong always wanted Gaipa to get a boyfriend and (through all the insurance payments through the bank) she kinda ended up sending Alan to him. Also it was nice to see Alan seem happier and smile for once. Leng giving the necklace back was sooo sweet. I felt like Li Ming and Heart really stole the show at times for me! Thank you so much for reacting to this! It’s become one of my favorites, and I’m happy you enjoyed it so much!
