Nick is on some exam thing stuff? I assume college preparation or something? Although I don´t know why the homeroom teachers apparently aren´t aware of that and still call them out for attendence? The teacher for the exam thing was a bit intense and strict, but I get why students should be quiet and concentrate in that environment. Pretty sure in the comics he was a teacher at the girls school and was only introduced at the Paris trip, so they probably expand on him a bit too. I don´t know what they did, but I think they did something with Nick and he looks even better than in season 1. And I love Nick and Charlie so much! Now that they are official they are even cuter than before. I´m so happy Imogen is being integrated! I´ve really grown to love her. And I guess we know how they will keep Ben relevant. He is stuck next to Nick, and Imogen has a crush on him. Two things that weren´t a thing in the books. Atleast I don´t remember this study hall Nick is doing, and Imogen didn´t exist in the books at all.

Most of the things between the beginning and Paris aren't in the books at all. Paris is kinda the beginning of Volume 3, right after where Season 1 ended. I was so curious how they would change it up from the books, but honestly, I LOVE it! The new stories, events, and moments they added were amazing!! That's what happens when the writer is also the show runner!

Bascially the friend group in the book is Charlie, Tao, Aled, and Elle (though she moved schools so she's not in it much), then later add Darcy, Tara, and Sahar, then Nick has his little group of friends at school: Otis, Christian, and Sai, then casual friends with the other rugby guys like Harry. I was kinda sad that Otis, Christian, and Sai weren't really in season 1, I love that they included them in this season!
