!!! i thought i was the only one but timothee as willy wonka doesn’t work for me either. i usually enjoy his acting but this just feels so miscast especially after that trailer. something is missing from his performance. loving your shirt! i don’t think i’ve seen that design before but i love that it includes nick’s ink stained hand and the smiley on charlie’s. this episode and last episode are probably my favs of the season! but yes please can s2 have longer episodes? love going on this journey with nick trying to figure out his sexuality. it’s so refreshing to see him actively doing some research and asking questions. i love that he never doubts his feelings for charlie through this entire journey of self discovery. it’s like the one constant. and i love that he felt comfortable enough to tell tara, darcy and elle this episode. and charlie is the sweetest wanting to be sure he actually wanted to tell them and didn’t feel pressured. they’re so good to and for each other. the concert is at the boys school, the teacher tells the girls they have a concert at truham and that’s why when nick is having lunch with tara and darcy, they see harry and tao. it was nice to see more tara and darcy in this episode too and to get a focus on how tara is dealing with being newly out. i love the open communication with all the couples on this show. it’s just so healthy and nice to see. also elle and tao are the cutest and i can’t wait for them to realize the feelings are reciprocated. i think when you have such a close friendship, it’s hard to see the other might want something more because your interactions are already so intimate and full of love that the lines get blurred. and i don’t think tao has even fully realized he has those feelings himself yet. i love their entire little friend group too! they just make me so happy. literally cannot wait til s2 for more.
