I like Damian´s crush. It´s cute. If you look back when he reflects on his interactions with Anya from that day her face looks completely different than it actually looked. Showing how his perspective on it is different because of his crush. But so far he is still annoying, and stubborn. Anya is stressed out since she knows about the mission. From Twilight´s perspective all she knows is that she is supposed to have good grades, which are normal expectations you have for your child. But since she knows how much depends on it she obviously feels a lot more pressure. And since Loid and Yor aren´t aware about that they don´t know why she is so stressed, or how to parent her better.

Even though Damien is an arrogant brat and shouldn't be fully let off the hook, I like that this anime does essentially show that he's not a bad person, he's just a little kid most likely infected with his father and brother's faulty views. It's so sweet how he has a crush on Anya. He is a tsundere in the making. Also, she radiated cuteness in the rose scene and Damien couldn't handle it. I think they’ll eventually become friends later down the series eventually.

I agree! I thin right now he is having a normal reaction as any little kid would trying to figure out what they are feeling in regards to a first time crush, especially being someone like Dam who, as you said, has so much pressure and responsibility on him to be a certain way in general.
