Bell wasnt being selfless, she was being stupid! That baby is Zelena's, she has every right to have her child, especially since Regina not only threatened to take her child from her, but actually did by sending Zelena away to a land without her child!

Our Decay- Thank you once again for another fun reaction to Once Upon a Time, Jessie! I do enjoy this episode, but it is most definitely one of my least favorite episodes within this season. These next three episodes really aren't that great for me, because I feel like there are a lot of flaws in them that I would change. Personally, while I can tolerate the whole Hades/Zelena romance, and even find it entertaining at times... there is a lot within their overarching storyline I would change. I also don't like that Belle has been brought down to the Underworld because I really don't care much at all about this storyline between her and Rumple for quite awhile from now and moving forward. And then... I am not a big fan of Dorothy and her storyline with the Scarecrow. First... I really enjoy the banter and dialogue between Zelena and Hades throughout this episode, and I love learning about how Hades has become the God of the Underworld upon learning that Zeus has stopped his heart. I even like that in order for him to be able to become free and leave the Underworld once and for all, that he must earn True Love's Kiss, and I love that this is what Hades is seeking, even though I don't believe that such a goal is possible for Hades. And yet the scene with them riding the bike is really cute. I love that it's a nod to The Wizard of Oz, given that Moira Gulch rides a bicycle before she's shown as the Wicked Witch of the West. I love that Zelena doesn't fall for Hades' proclamation of love, and that she refuses to give into his charm in spite of her love she feels for him. I do believe that Hades might feel something for Zelena, but just like Zelena says, I don't believe he would give up his revenge against his brother just to be with her. I don't believe his love for Zelena is True Love. However, I really couldn't care less about the whole storyline with Hades helping Zelena to find Dorothy and to capture the Scarecrow for his brains. I hate how weak of a character the Scarecrow is and how his character is animated, rather than him being played by an actual actor. The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz is my favorite character, so to see him reduced to a very weakly animated character here who is poorly written and who says two lines... so very, very disappointing. I also really love Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz as well, so to see Dorothy to be written such as she is within this episode as well, is also disappointing. She's pretty boring and weak. I also really don't care much for Zelena's present day storyline upon her coming down into the Underworld and seeking to run away from Hades to try to protect her child. I don't like how Wishy Washy Zelena is shown to be, even though I can understand her storyline. She does truly just want what is best for her daughter, and you can see that she does love her. And I appreciate seeing a soft side to her for a change. And then... we learn at last why Hades has designed the upper level of the Underworld to look like Storybrooke, as a way of trying to convince Zelena that he loves her and has changed. Because he believes that even now, Zelena still wants everything that her sister has. To rule her own version of Storybrooke. It makes sense, but I don't really love this story idea. As for Rumple's storyline with Belle throughout this episode... I completely get where you're coming from in regards to your anger towards Rumple. He is absolutely a scumbag. I hate his attitude and coldness towards Belle. Although... I do have to admit that it is actually nice to see Rumple finally show his true colors even to Belle, and to stop trying to pretend to be a good man. Because he certainly isn't one any longer. Not right now he isn't. And I do feel badly for Belle. She deserves so much more. Next... I enjoy Henry's smaller storyline throughout this episode, in spite of his emo teenager attitude in the beginning, which really kind of annoys me. More so... I do love how Henry has begun to write new pages for the new storybook he's become the keeper of as the Author, even though he's begun writing and drawing these pages while asleep, which is interesting. And I especially love the moment he shares the page he's written to show Snow and Charming that their message to their son has gotten through to him. Which brings me to the storyline I love most within this episode. I love that Snow and Charming come to realize that they've been down in the Underworld too long thanks to the Blind Witch upon her calling them regulars within her diner. I like how she then tells the Charmings how they can contact their son within the living world through a magical phonebooth, in exchange for David breathing into a vial. I love that we learn that the breath of the living is something that can be something of great worth in the Underworld's version of the black market. Very interesting indeed. Also, like you... I love getting to know the Blind Witch more and more. She's a fantastic character brought into this season! Another of my favorite moments... is when Robin and Regina talk about why he hasn't named his daughter yet, and how he and Regina have come down to the Underworld to save Killian so they can help a friend who needs them, and so they can show his daughter an example of heroism. I really appreciate this. And lastly... I love the brief scenes with Killian, Emma, Regina, Henry, Robin, and the Charmings. Like I mentioned... these are my favorite scenes within this entire episode no matter how small they are. I do wish that Killian and Emma were in this episode more, but you're right that we have gotten a lot of focus on them lately, so I definitely can understand them not being shown too much in this episode. Overall... this episode is just okay, but it's still enjoyable to watch. And I loved watching your reaction for it like I always do. So, thank you again, Jessie!! :) Sincerely, Heidi

For those who might have missed Jessie's last Reaction. The only way to see The Brother Jones' ep 15 J'S OUAT Reaction, unfortunately is thru the Vimeo link up. If you feel like you missed it watch it there, but avoid Vimeo app download. It's not 2022 Rectified. Causes problems. Use temporary link, to watch Reaction. Then watch Our Decay ep. 16 OUAT 💖🌎💖🤦🏻‍♀️🏴‍☠️👩🏼🧑🏻❤️

I think you are a bit too harsh to Zelena. Specifically saying that it´s her fault that her baby is in danger. Yes, she shouldn´t have tried to steal her, twice. But the baby being in the underworld is not Zelena´s fault, that was ultimately completely on Hades and would have happened even if Zelena didn´t try to steal her. Zelena running off with the baby though, yeah that was stupid. As for why her magic worked and then not. It was just random, magic is difficult down there, so by pure luck she managed to hit them and run off, but because she realized she unintentionally hurt her baby too she freaked out and decided to give her up. I think Hades is sincere, it sounds weird, but I feel like he is better at that love stuff than Rumple and he possibly would just be content with Zelena being with him, atleast for a while. I don´t think his sole intention was to break to curse and he genuinely cares about her. I also really like how that relationship once again demonstrates Zelena´s inferiority complex. She can´t believe that anyone would choose her, which is why she is convinced that it must be a trick, or an ulterior motive. But the thing is, I´m pretty sure if Hades just wanted the curse to be broken and didn´t love her then it wouldn´t be true love, and the kiss just wouldn´t work at all.

I definitely get what you mean about Hades. I think the fact that I like the actor a lot brings me to like the character more, I would find it interesting to see if I felt the same way if it was an actor I didn't know.

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Very true. I love Greg Germann too. And I love him as Hades. I do wonder though sometimes if I would still like this character if Hades was played by someone else... perhaps even an actor I don't know at all. I would like to think I would. After all... I really love the actor for Hades in the Disney movie too, and I have liked this character played by numerous actors over the years in other shows and movies too.

this episode may not be one of my favorites, but i do love seeing oz again! i liked that we got to see the munchkins and the scarecrow, new additions to ouat characters :) i loved seeing a grown up dorothy as well! thank you so much for this reaction, have a great rest of your day! ❤️

See my thing is like the fact that she even had the baby considering the life choices she makes in regards to all the evil doings she partakes in for me means that her baby will always be in danger making it always her fault LOL That's is a very good point about the kiss though! However that brings up the question of, What technically counts as true love? For example, Rumle truly loves Belle, but clearly loves power more. So is a kiss with Belle a true loves kiss? Or does it not live up to that hype because deep down even though it's true love it's not his truest love?

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Hello! I remember you telling me this in our chats. It's fine that you disagree with us about Greg Germann.

No it’s ok it’s when I’d went to use the backspace I’d hit return by mistake so my comment would post when I wasn’t ready so I had to edit several times then was frustrated & I accidentally hit delete/trash can icon instead of edit icon. I didn't feel like retyping comment all over again lol

But yeah like I was saying I don’t like the actor & I especially hate his Hades character. Which is partly due to the actor but also the way he portrays him like his voice, mannerisms etc. I don’t like him & Zelena as a couple & their scenes creep me out. And as I said when I rewatch this episode I skip over their scenes. And Jessie I agree with you I never trusted Hades especially in this episode & in what he tells Zelena in their backstory & present day underworld & I never believed it was true love for him.

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

I understand your hatred of Hades and his actor. And I am definitely not a fan of Hades' and Zelena's relationship, but I can tolerate it. What I do hate is that they are established to be a True Love couple.

Linda McDonough Garcia

I’m glad we can both respect each other’s opinions. Though I’m not sure I can tolerate their relationship I agree with your opinion of hating that they made them a true love couple. As I said in an earlier comment I definitely don’t believe he truly loved her or that he had genuine love for her.

Honestly, Belle always teams up with the best people and honestly, I kind of like the Belle and Zelena duo....I know they have history but I can kind of see them being friends. Belle being able to see past the green and them both being smart...if she wasn't Wicked they could be best friends. Zelena and Regina are really similar...her threatening the Munchkins is very similar to the Evil Queen. ....I feel like he's using her, but I kind of ship Zelena and Hades.... I'm just happy to see Belle. If I'm not wrong, I think Emilie was actually pregnant around this time... Why did he set the dagger down?? I hate Rumple so so so so so much. Like right now I see no way for him too ever be redeemed. "It's like a broom with wheels." I think I like Happy Zelena... Poor Belle is so confused lol I kind of believe him...I mean her rejecting him could be what made him fall off the deep end. I hate myself because I know he is using her in some way, but I'm shipping it...but he's also coming on a bit too strong that it's almost creepy. IDK!!! XD
