It's SO interesting that you specifically brought that up because I realized I never talked about it after I was watching other reactors. I feel with this show there is so much going on so fast that when I go back to edit I end up having 100 other realizations and opinions that I didn't even touch during my 30 minutes rants at the end lol So I am really torn, because my initial reaction was to think that Cal took advantage of Nate. However, that was never mentioned or hinted at before, soI started to think that maybe it was a metaphorical situation where Nate feels like Cal puts so much pressure on him that he was literally feeling the weight of Cal. BUT then someone commented on the yotutube video, I have to find the comment, but it was inr egards to episode 6 when Nate and his mom are talking and she says around 7 or 8 something switched in you, and I said that's when he found Cal's tapes. I have to check and make sure this is accurate, but the person commented and said it wasn't until Nate was 11 that he found the tapes, therefore maybe someting happened to Nate at an early age that involved some sort of trauma. This would also make more sense as to why Nate freaked out so significantly in season 1 to go as far as bashing his head into the floor when Cal got on top of him. To be honest, at first I thought it was an artsy interpretation of the weight Nate feels, but after reading that comment I'm starting to think it may actually be a lot deeper. What do you think? Sorry for the novel LOL
