Kinda amazing how they got a big name like David Tennant for a character that only appears in 2 episodes. But in general they got big names even for really small roles, like Felicia Day just appeared in this episode to be incinerated by a dragon. As for the obligatory Matt Mercer cameo in this episode, he appeared when Scanlan and Grog were on the lookout, he was transporting alcohol when Grog snatched a barrel from his cart

You've probably figured it out already, but it's canon that Vax and Scanlan are bisexual. I'm glad you've enjoyed this so far. As for Uriel the King/Sovereign, he's not as, I, would say jovial, in the actual campaign. However, I kind of like him better in The Legend of Vox Machina.

I definitely figured Scanlan was! I couldn’t figure out if Vax was, or if he was just playing into Gilmore’s flirtation to get the information he wanted. Uriel is interesting, I feel like there’s a background of darkness there, but I guess being Sovereign will do that to you lol I keep wanting to call him King because I’ve known him so well from The Walking Dead as King Ezekiel and I can’t shake that lol

A lot of people know him from that, but he also voiced Cyborg in the original Cartoon Network Teen Titans, which is how I know him. 🤣
