I need a season 2 ASAP. I need to know about Niko, and Jenny and the Night Nurse joining the chaos will be great! Netflix would be so sooo stupid if they let this show pass them by. In addition with the Sandman they have a great chance to build a universe here. I´ve seen a few theories that the Night Nurse´s boss has to have a connection to Niko, either she is her mom, or somehow Niko herself, but something is up. Also the Niko Sasaki card isn´t an open case, they aren´t looking for her. That card was for the Dandelion case, which they solved. So, the writers have said that apparently the popularity of the Cat King surprised them, so their plans didn´t include him past season 1, but if we get more seasons he would probably at least get a few cameos in season 2. No idea how they didn´t expect for people to love this flirty little cat, but anyway... Edwin said 142 before, so he was off, but not "way off" like the Cat King claimed. And since I ship Edwin and the Cat King and want them to become a thing in future seasons, at least for a while if not permanently, this will now become a rant, sorry. Their dynamic is just very fun! The Cat King can help Edwin get out of his shell a little and Edwin clearly has a positive effect on the Cat King too, he makes him... softer. So, Edwin knew the number of Cats, but he didn´t really have time to count any further since he came back from hell, which means he must have known during the forest already, but didn´t take the chance to get rid of the bracelet, which is interesting. Oh and also it is sweet how Edwin took the time to consider the Cat King in his count when he himself didn´t even consider himself. I don´t think a lot of people take him into consideration, and that´s why he is so lonely. Sure he has his subjects, the other cats, but not really anyone else. And the symbolism of the Cat King gifting Edwin a Lily. First of all, cute. Secondly, Lilies are poisonous to cats, so he literally entrusts Edwin with something that could kill him. Not to mention that just last episode he lost a life for Edwin´s sake because he wanted to protect him from Esther. God I love these two so much!
