Info about today's Sims 4 update (Eyelashes are broken) (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

Sims 4 just received an update and i've updated my game thinking it was a small patch and nothing can break. While it seems that my mods are still fine, unfortunately, all eyelashes are broken. EA fixed the "glasses being distorted" bug but now, eyelashes are messed up. If your sims have eyelashes on, i recommend you to remove them manually. To be honest, i believe creators' eyelashes are not the thing that is broken. EA probably changed something on UV map and this is causing eyelashes to distort. Even their own eyelashes are broken too. I guess they just updated the UV map to fix glass bug, while breaking everything else related to eyelashes.

If you have updated your game on 8th of August: only thing you need to do is go to CAS > Glasses > Click the X button and remove eyelashes from the sim and you are all set to play. This eyelashes issue is NOT gamebreaking. They are only distorted.

If you haven't updated your game on 8th of August, you will not have this issue.

It's been only 2 hours since update. Let's give them some time :)

Thank you, i am so upset (as millions are) with EA, i have not played in quite awhile, i am having withdrawals at this point. All these new sims and i can`t play, i was trying to wait until everything is fix, maybe i will just go on and take the bullet, i am bored without my SIMS!!!! Sorry for my mini rant, i apologize. It is all at EA, trust me.

Today's update actually fixed quite a lot of issues such as glasses being distorted, cupid corner issue, loading issue etc. However, this time i only noticed the distortion bug on eyelashes. Everything else seem to be fine, at least for now. All you have to do is remove eyelashes in CAS and you are good to go ♥

Thank you for the warning. Just wanted to start the game. This time I really wait for a soltuion. There are allready a few cc lashes updated to the new catagory. I wonder if this will solve it. I really don't think that EA will solve a CC Problem.

Carrying over the lashes category is not the solution unfortunately. Either EA needs to re-adjust their UV mapping back or eyelashes' creator needs to make changes on their eyelashes.
