Hey guys, I've been thinking about starting a side project. A project I could work on when I'm not in the mood to work on Sabrina.

This is not meant to replace Sabrina, just a little something for me that I would eventually share with you.

Now the rough idea is to make a visual novel like game that plays in a futuristic vore filled world where in order to unlock scenes the player has to work on their relations with npcs. Decisions will have effects to the game.

Now we come to the part where I need your help. Female or male main character?

1. Female MC

We'll have a bunch of MC as pred scenes and some prey scenes. There will be a female npc living with us.

2. Male MC

We'll have a bunch of MC as prey scenes and observer scenes and some sexual scenes. The MC lives with a couple of female npcs who are preds.

The project will be made in godot 4.

I prefer female player characters and I prefer to play as pred, so this choice is a no-brainer for me.

You got my hopes up for a second, then I read further down. I would of loved a male pred mc, but I know from experience that's not well like by most.

Female character all the way. Some ideas: 1.Female Teacher that teaches a class of different kinds of students be it human or beast people. 2.Female Cop that catches criminals. 3. Female Nun that watches over a church and lures in “believers”. 4.Female Personal Trainer that has many “enthusiastic followers”. 5.Finally Female psychologist that has many patients that she manipulates into thinking vore is the “cure” be it as a predator or as a prey. Just some ideas that I have always thought would be an interesting plot.

didn't you do something with a wolf girl in the past although a side story of one of the fox girls would be a treat perhaps we can learn a bit about there backstory thru a small mini game

I am not interested in playing as a man so I'm thankful that's not winning xD And you could still have sexual scenes between two or more female characters, they'd just be different. Or not so different if one has a dick like the lady the cow nun ate. If you want suggestions for the story/premise I could try and come up with so something

I was fine with a male MC. But since female will win, how about doing the story of a futuristic world where a lady is in charge of a bunker where she live with her friend and have to survive in a wasteland? There'd be a bunch of random events that will alter your life conditions and you have to survive as long as possible. For example, in one case, a family wants to ask for ospitality in the bunker. You can allow them to stay and they'll reward with a weapon and some drink, or you can eat them and fill your belly. Or a bunch of raiders attack your base and you must be ready to defend it.

Really disappointing the male MC is losing after two games of already female MCs, would be a breath of fresh air for any potential burn out

Seems a bit rigged due to the male character being labeled as predominantly prey with predominantly pred based gameplay on the other two games that were made. I think people attracted here don't want to switch sides of the coin but it could be a nice setup to attract the prey leaning players into the group you are building here.

Dang, would be nice to see a male mc just for a change of pace and a broader spectrum of games to choose from. But I guess the masses have spoken, and it's 'more of the same' all the way.

It would be cool to play as a male MC that isn’t pred or prey but an observer who can influence who is eaten by the girls and gets to have sex with them. Just my two cents, as I like males as observers and like female to be preds/prey. Sex is awesome to use to speed up digestion and cause weight gain from vore.

That's some fun ideas! I think I'm leaning more towards the Female Personal Coach with many followers. But she's actually some kind of vore influencer. Her "goal" is to get other people to do vore, especially her reluctant roommate who's super shy and even though she has the "pred gene" has never actually given into her desires. MC would basically tease others into submission or help them explore their inner desires?

Yep, that was the idea for the male mc version. There would have been male as prey scenes(Kind of like struggle simulator), but mostly observer scenes like you described.

That sounds interesting I can see that being a good story. Depending on how long/big you plan to make the story you can possibly add different routes to the roommate where you could choose to push her into becoming a predator or convince her to be a prey and feed herself to the MC.
