Tier Changes (Patreon)

I've decided that starting October, I will be removing the RR Email Extra benefit.

Anything related to RR is naturally going to take a significant amount of time to develop and it turns out the emails were no exception.  I may continue them sporadically when I find extra time but going forward, emails will no longer be a part of the tiers.

A separate but related issue gnawing at my mind: Patrons between subject and RR Scientist have not received anything extra for their added support other than my sincere gratitude.  It's for this reason and the removal of the email benefit that I'd like to try an experimental benefit for Participants and RR Staff.

Starting next month: RR Interns and RR Scientists can submit a request for a captioned image.  Think of it like the monthly commission but shorter, only the short story is photoshopped with an accompanying image that either you or I can choose.  The topic can be related to RR Labs or be completely fresh ideas. As of right now, I do not plan on photoshopping the actual images (i.e. adding shrunken men) but that could change as I toy around with Gimp. I am picturing the end product looking something like the image attached to this post.

Twice a month, I will put the requests I receive into a poll for Participants and higher to vote on. The winners gets made.

As I gauge interest in this benefit, I am anticipating two requests turned into captioned images every month for Participants and higher.  I may be able to do more but right now, we'll start low and see if we can go higher instead of the other way around.
