Omg can’t wait for their reaction to episode 6 and 7, Mon Mothma on the last episode was slaying the show, and what a performance from the cast but Genevieve as Mon on this episode, chefs kiss, that monologue of her at the end of conversation with the banker. So good

Love Cassian and Diego Luna but I find myself wanting to see more of Genevieve and Stellan 😅hope they get some arcs focusing on them.

Slow buildup indeed, but after the next episodes 6 and 7, I kind of have the impression that the pace of the storytelling wont slow down again like it did for episodes 1-2 and 4-5 and there's no turning back to spending days prepping, waiting for a big thing to happen anymore. 7 was my second favorite episode and there's not much action, but a lot of intense or emotional scenes. It appears to me that since Mom Mothma's family doesn't really know the real her, they think she's this frivolous politician who doesn't really get much done other than donate to charities and as it appears to them, likes the fame for it, "it's always about you". To the father, she's always trying to live for other people in a way that they think makes her vain, instead of having a glamorous politician life with her family, which is a negative trait of his. He doesn't seem to take duty seriously. Also the more away she is doing her secret duties for the rebellion, the less time she spends with her daughter, so her daughter probably resents her for not being able to spend time with her. I had a similar thing with my stepdad while he was studying to get his Master's in Education to teach special needs, wanting him to spend time with us, rather than always doing homework after getting home from work. When helping those in need, family home life can be a casualty. To me she feels like a secret hero who appears full of themselves in public, like Bruce Wayne.
