This episode is a complete recap of the series! Relive the events with siblings- Storm, Kim and Tom! UPDATE- Our fans informed us that Amazon added this as an episode and changed the rest of the episode numbers for this season. There is one more recap coming up in a couple episodes that we already watched. Thanks for watching with us!

Uh oh, Amazon screwed that up. Episode 5x14 is The Variable. I kinda remember that they would air clip shows before some episodes sometimes, but according to the dates they aired on off weeks without a new episode. Unless you guys REALLY need a recap or wanna watch it, which is fine, you should just skip them, we don't even remember these clip shows airing. Apparently Amazon has another clip show coming up, 5x17 A Journey in Time, which apparently aired before the finale back then, I don't even remember it. The proper 5x17 is the season finale's second part, the title of which I won't say here. The only extras of these that were necessary/kinda were Lost: Missing Pieces, the 13 mini webisodes between the 3rd and 4th season, but not sure were they stream. Those introduced Neil, the guy complaining about needing fire, and other hints about what had happened and was gonna happen, just cool mini side extras.

Wow, definitely not the episode I thought I was gonna watch tonight. Most people don't react to this, but it's probably a good thing you did to refresh your memories of stuff! Guess I'll be watching the ads again on amazon during the special/recap again instead of my Blurays which doesn't have this. Thank goodness for the mute button. Edit: Luckily there weren't too many ads on it! Woo! Tom talking about Juliet smirking is ironic given his face in the thumbnail, heck in most thumbnails. 😊

The one cool thing about the clip shows, besides if you wanna watch them to remember stuff, is that this one was narrated by Richard (Nestor Carbonell) and the other one coming up is narrated a bit by Ben (Michael Emerson) and presented by the showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. Checking Amazon now for Season 6, there are no recap episodes to worry about, fortunately.

I absolutely remember them airing these clip shows to get viewers up to date. Mostly because of the time travel aspect which could lose some ABC viewers. I remember this season had a lot of breaks with the big episodes airing during sweeps week, etc, so that's why they created 2 clips shows. They wanted to retain viewers during the big multiple week breaks and get them back up to speed.

Thank you David! Yeah, this really threw us off, LOL! I was afraid to skip thinking there may be a few minutes of new information somewhere... but oh well! We did just watch the second recap 5x17, doh! It wasn't bad though and had the creators narrating through it. Are there any after that? If something starts off as a long recap in the future, should we assume it's another recap and not an actual episode? I don't mind skipping those. Thanks!

LOL! Tom is the hardest to add into THUMBNAILS, so I sometimes find a silly pose in our reviews! Makes me laugh! Yeah, sorry to disappoint! This 'episode' threw us off too. I am happy we were able to relive events since so much has happened. Thanks for always watching with us! Glad you were able to watch on amazon!

No problem, Storm! It never occurred to me to check my Amazon Prime streaming videos to check and give you all a heads up, Never thought they would include the recap episodes. Haha, but since you guys already watched the last recap episode, you don't have to worry as there are no more of those to be concerned about. I used to rewatch LOST on my PC or Blu-ray player off my collection, but the past few years a get my LOST fix by discovering new creators and reactors to the show, cool everyday people of all walks of life from all over the world discovering and enjoying a show like my brothers and sister did with me back then. So watching all the siblings here takes me back to the water cooler talk and internet sensation hype of many forums back in the day, everyone wanted to know what would happen on LOST. It was really "special" like Walt or Locke, hahaha, people throwing watching parties or catching episodes in bars, I know for my family Wednesdays was pizza night 😂. I get to relive some of those feelings watching good people like you guys work your way through the convoluted and extremely fun mayhem of the show.
