I love that opening scene so much! We are finally on season 3 guys. Lots of good moments ahead!

I love people's reactions to the plane flying over head, and it's one of my favorite shots of the whole show! No spoilers here but info on one deleted scene to clear things up. The reason Kate's wrists were so bloody and she looked so sad in the scene with Sawyer is due to a deleted scene. Before they brought her to the cage next to Sawyer they left her alone for a few mins in the locker room by herself and she desperately tried to get out of the tight cuffs. All the wrist abrasions were self inflicted and she got very depressed realizing she couldn't escape. The deleted scene is on YouTube. Too bad it got deleted because Evangeline's performance is fantastic in it. You guys pretty much has a clear grasp of this, but I thought I'd mention that they didn't run and slam the door to escape that water, they closed the door Jack opened which was letting the water in. The Yellow Button started draining the water. 1 aquarium room with a door to go around the glass into Jack's side of the aquarium side of the room on the other side of the glass. Hallway outside which flooded. The glass separates Juliet and Jack. Really sad when you think about the fact that this flashback takes place BEFORE the flashback in Season 1 where Jack's dad accidentally killed the pregnant girl from a car crash because his hands were shaking, due to his drinking. He got fired, thought he ruined his relationship with his son, and fled to Australia with Ana. In a way, in this episode Jack caused his dad to relapse on his sobriety which in turn lead to that happening. 😥
