I think you ladies are confused by this episode and what it means. Daisy and this team based on robin's visions will go back to the past AFTER being in the future and seeing all of this and cause Earth destruction then the Zephyr will crash during earths destruction like we saw in the first robin vision, May will raise robin, Fitzsimmons will design a time machine, yoyo will attack the kree etc. (All of this happens in robin's life.) There is no timeline where the team did not go to the future. It is a loop of them failing to save the world. They go to the future go back and daisy causes the earth destruction.

Certain assumptions can be made about the timeline based on what we know now in the show. One of the big things we need to know, is what type of time travel does this show utilize to deal with time paradoxes? The old Back to the Future kind that Endgame made fun of, or the Multiverse style that Endgame and Loki introduced into the MCU? I think they used the Multiverse style despite predating the MCU's trek into it. In fact, all the way back in season 3, where Robin's father introduced seeing through time, Fitz has been adamant that time can't be altered like in Movies. [This may contain Endgame and Loki Spoilers - read ahead at your own risk] So, in that sense, you are wrong. Going back in time, you can't alter your future, because in multiverse theory, you create a new branch of the time stream at the point you returned to. So, you create a duplicate of your universe and all your changes only affect the duplicate, not the original. The way to understand it is to understand why the timeline didn't collapse in Endgame when Thanos went into the future. If time travel worked like in Back to the Future, Infinity War would have never taken place because Thanos left the timeline long before it started. (He left during the intro of the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie). So, everything he did after that point in time wouldn't have taken place and the timeline would have been severely altered. In Multiverse theory though, his leaving the timeline created a branch, a duplicate universe, where he left. This left the original with the original Thanos to move ahead in time and carry out all his dastardly deeds including Infinity War. So, there were two Thanos. The key is though, when he went into the future, they had anchored the future portal to the original timeline. So, when Thanos went forward in time, he also jumped from the duplicated timeline he created and jumped into the future of the original timeline. So, the original timeline really had two different Thanos in it. This is easily seen in the Loki series where all the various Lokis of different timelines share the same universe at the end. Thy were each pulled from their respective branches and sent to the same branch, the last one. So, how does this effect out team? Well, sending them forward in time would have created a branch in the time stream, one with them being sent to the future and one without them being sent into the future. Now, I have a theory for how this all works out, but unfortunately going beyond that is unfortunately outside the scope of what the show has shown so far. From what the show has told us so far, we are fairly certain that the team will be going back in time to prevent the destruction fo the Earth. We know that some of our team survived the destruction of the Earth and lived in a colony in the lighthouse, whose descendants make up the people now surrounding our team. There are more details the show has to reveal though before we can talk details of the time streams and how they may have branched though. I'm looking forward to the point in the show where we could talk about it, as when I first watched the show, I was using the common movie style theory of time travel and was super confused by the paradoxes created by the show using that understanding. On a separate note, the way your statement about Daisy is worded worded is a little misleading. That is all according to what our characters know at the moment and what we saw in Robin's vision of the past. For instance, no current character has seen Daisy destroy the world, so their belief that she does it is merely speculation based on circumstantial evidence. [Also, I had a pretty long discussion that I have since deleted about this and I know his claim about Daisy destroying the world is because that is what all the characters in the episode is saying, not from his personal experience of watching the show, so don't worry, it's not a spoiler. I deleted it because I think I think my part of the discussion probably could have been handled better and i didn't want to leave possible negativity out there. Also, some of the discussion neared discussion of spoilers, so I didn't think it would be good to leave for that reason either.]

Everything i said was covered in this episode.

But why say all that when the video clearly shows daisy there and a 12 point earthquake happening. Only she could do that. Telling the ladies that it could be anything else is being unrealistic. And i did say that in robin visions the team went back and daisy destroyed the world.

Christopher simeon

I have seen the whole season. If characters are saying it than it is not a spoiler. Deke said it, fitz said it and voss and daisy said it. I am confirming what they said in this episode.

If I remember correctly, earthquake measurements are exponential. So a 5.0 is ten times larger than than a 4.0. The USGS claims that a 10.0 earthquake isn't possible on Earth because I guess the measurement of the power of the earthquake is related to how long it is along the fault line. According to them, no fault line on Earth currently is large enough to allow for a 10.0. A 9.5 is the largest one so far though. So, in the show, if a 12.8 took place, it would be about 10000 times more power full than an 8.8 earthquake. So, yes, it very likely would require the destruction of the earth to allow one to be that powerful.

This episode has a lot going on in it. I won't talk too much about it because these episodes currently are running right off of each other and there's a lot of things all happening over a period of a few episodes. The big thing that tends to stick with me this episode is May being Robin's mother. We find out fairly early on that her mother died around the time the Earth cracked. So May filled the role. It's such a healing thing for her too. She profoundly damaged when she had to kill that girl who was an inhuman. Robin, also an inhuman, is the girl she saves to make up for before. You can see how different May is in that past as Robin's mom. She's smiling and empathetic, kind of like how she was in the beginning of the episode where we learned about her past. So, we know Melinda is still in that hardened shell just waiting to get back out. In fact, that was pretty interesting too. Having a view into another timeline where our team have lived other lives and the effects on them. I always like that sort of view into their characters. Poor Yoyo, and of course Mac, who seems to have died in that past.
