Hi everyone and welcome back! I love episodes like this one! I'm happy for the deserter! It's very interesting to see the conflict between him and Rex... both are good, loyal people and have very different perspectives about their existence.

To answer your question Captain Rex was not in the movies, he was created for the Clone Wars series. Also they introduce a few new clone names in this episode, Hardcase, Kix, and Jesse. Jesse seems to be Rex's right hand man I think, and has a cool tattoo on both his helmet and face. Kix seems to be a medic.

Next week starts one of my favorite arcs! I can't believe how good this show is! Dawn it would be super fun once you finish the Clone Wars to revisit Star Wars Episode 3 because you'll see it in a whole different light.

Speaking of recurring clone characters like Waxer and Boil, be sure to remember Jessie in this episode, the guy who had the circular Republic Tattoo on his face and helmet and he's also the one Rex put in charge while he was injured. You'll see him again in some episodes after this.
