Surprise! This was a lost reaction we did a while ago, at the beginning of the Pandemic before we started using Zoom :) This has been requested a lot too, especially during the winter months.. and Kim has been asking to see Peter Pan for a long time since she has NEVER seen or read anything about him! So cool! I labeled this 1953 since there are a lot of Peter Pan type movies and this Disney Classic goes by that a lot online. This is my favorite fairy tale! So happy to have watched this together! OH! AND we just watched Django Unchained, so expect that tmrw! xoxo

Please DO NOT watch The Hateful 8, or Once upon a time in Hollywood! I was the earliest Tarantino proposer here, and love the movies you guys watched already, but I just know it's very likely Kim is not going to enjoy these 2 movies. I thought UuatiH was a very much pointless movie, and The hateful 8 just plain boring, and cliche, said for brevity reasons...

Have you guys watched Kingdom of Heaven? It's a great movie!

If you liked Peter Pan, you should 100% watch 'Hook' with Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. It's a timeless and straight-up fun movie.

Michaela Talley

I love this surprise! Will you watch Return to Neverland?

Katie Bjordahl

love peter pan. i used to watch this movie a lot as a kid.

Seconded! 'Hook' is a must watch, in my honest opinion.

I know it's already been recommended, but I want to add my voice that Hook with Robin Williams is a fantastic take on the Peter Pan tale. I highly recommend a reaction to it. I think you will all love it!

People are recommending Hook as a follow-up, and that's a nice suggestion. Another interesting, lesser-known spin on Peter Pan that might be worth a watch is the 2003 version. It's not perfect, but it really does have a lot going for it: (a) Arresting cinematography from the person who (I think) was the D.P. for Moulin Rouge. (b) Wonderful music by James Newton Howard. You may even recognize it, since it was subsequently used in an ad campaign for Disney World. (c) A very entertaining version of Tinkerbell, as played by Ludivine Sagnier. (d) Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter) as Captain Hook. (e) Just about the best version of the "I do believe in fairies" scene ever.

I grew up on these Disney movies, this and 101 Dalmatians from 1961. If y'all enjoyed this one, then I'd recommend 101 Dalmatians as well, both films from 1961 and 1996 (the one with Glenn Close), those are like my #1 favorite Disney movie. ;D

It's really been a while since you reacted to Disney movies. You should go for Tarzan (1998) next. I've been asking for it for 2 years now XD

Rafael Benedicto

A Beautiful Mind was a really underrated movie. And it's based on a true story, too.

Anonymous

Underrated? really? The film won 4 Academy Awards including Best Film, Director, Adapted Screenplay, and Supporting Actress, and had 8 Oscar nominations overall. I'd say that's the opposite of underrated. It was quite an acclaimed film.

Rafael Benedicto

Here in the Philippines it's a very obscure movie. When it came out in theaters I remember only around 10 people watching it, and other than my mom I don't personally know anyone who's ever watched it.

Alpha Leader

Definitely Tarzan next

I recommend you to watch Peter Pan (2003). It's a live action movie. I respect the original animation for its beautiful, iconic imagery and sense of humor but the content is too offensive, racist and misogynistic because of the time it was made. The live action movie rewrote the content so well without changing the main story so much. The cast and their acting is also great so I really think you should watch it before or after Hook

Daniel R

Wow what a reaction! Loved this movie!

Lucifer Moon

please watch the 2003 version as it is far more accurate to the original peter pan version by the original author.
