Hi everyone and welcome back! I have a full time editor officially tmrw! Besides me! (OMG YAY!!), I'm going to be more active here! Speed was supposed to be up earlier today, but I got involved with some things on Patreon.. so here we are! I am working on The Impossible now, so that should be available later tmrw!

This is another movie I felt like it had no chance whatsover of winning the poll if not for the troll. But at least this is a movie that I do like alot, and of course would have loved to see you guys reacting to it eventually. Nevertheless, i'm just gonna grab my popcorn and be ready. Hi Adam! We already watched Impossible so that will be up sometime tmrw. I do believe what everyone is saying, but I don't have many facts to prove if the POLLS have been tampered with greatly.. it does make sense to me though... I am looking through all accounts and comparing. Trying to figure out a way to solve this. Mom and Kim usually choose a random movie too, but that won't be till next week :)

It's kind of funny. After the recent drama, there is no more doubt the polls were being manipulated, and so it's reasonable to conclude that Speed was also artificially "helped." Having said that, this is literally the one poll-winner in like forever that I'm excited to see a reaction to. (I was even thinking of suggesting this title at one point.) "Speed" is just plain fun. I remember after I saw it in the theaters with friends, I literally made my sister come with me to see it again the very next evening because I knew she'd enjoy it too.

This was my first time watching it too and it was action packed and insane! Loved every minute of it even though some parts are a bit cheesy, but it's perfect 90s action movie greatness.

For what it's worth, I was able to read your comment before it disappeared, and gave it a like for the overall idea. (Definitely would like to see more "outside the box" movie reactions.) Your comment may have not been deleted intentionally. I know that Patreon sometimes has issues with comments disappearing shortly after being posted, regardless of what they say. It's happened to me before, and it's very frustrating (which is why I've gotten in the habit of saving longer comments to a backup file). I only ever really feel like Patreon comments have "taken" if I've reloaded the page a couple times and they're still there.

Hey, CiviliNation, just out of curiosity, have you ever seen Silver Streak? I notice it absent from your Richard Pryor movies. I believe that was the first team-up with Pryor and Gene Wilder, and it's really good. Did you leave it out because Pryor is more of supporting role? If it turns out you haven't seen it, you should give it a go. (It's less comedy, but more of a 70s thriller/mystery with comedy elements. Also, Pryor doesn't show up until well into the second act.)

This movie is so well shot with such a breakneck pace it's crazy how the director of SPEED has only directed 5 movies, one of them SPEED 2. He did Twister as well. I think the main reason is because he's mainly a cinematographer, he's has been doing it since the 60s. I would love for him to direct ONE more action packed film though. Hes 76 now.
