R2 cutting R3 loose in their fight to meet his end is one of my favorite scenes in Star Wars. Love R2!

The "big droids" you see with the claws as you put it are actually the fighters whenever you see a space battle. They're unmanned fighters, so yeah consider them just big droids that are stored away until a space/air battle breaks out

I don't know if anyone mentioned this before, but the big blue droids were in the Mandalorian. They were the scary robots in the flashbacks from when he was a kid. They're called B2 droids or super battle droids.

Yup, bit of trivia for Dawn and the fam: the B2 Battle Droids were first seen in Attack of the Clones (Episode 2) in the arena battle with all the Jedi--the event that kicked off the Clone Wars!
