Alright. This chapter has been broken into three parts due to the length and to break up the huge narrative. It is not the last one and I intend the release the final chapter on May 3rd. I may need that long just to rest and edit. 

The password is the same for all three chapters. Please be very mindful of spoilers if you are in the Discord or anywhere else and do not leave spoilers below. Even so--don't read the comments since someone always ignores this warning.

Dude. The Worldbuilding is right there. As in, there are sentient species (including humans) in the story. Trans people are a given in that context. You are basically complaining about the fact that pirate didn't ignore the fact that they exist. You might as well complain about the existence of male and female humans in the story. Better yet. Start questioning why she put any cis people at all in the story. Makes just as much sense.

I am painfuly aware of what substrata of the population people who enjoy free online works of literature and art would occupy, but it still blows my mind that a significant minority of people, especially in these normally more educated or at least literature-wise saturated circles, so blindly and painfully bend over backwards for the mental disorder that is transgenderism. Why is there such a strong push for normalization and integration of a small portion of society that happens to suffer from a mental disorder? Bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, etc. Are not celebrated, though I did enjoy the mad clown as an addition in that direction. I have to agree with Samuel Tupper. Although I was fully aware of what the likely beliefs and political leanings of the author were, I still find myself slightly put off by this addition. I'm just dissapointed that this set of beliefs has become so widespread. I try to avoid this cancer but I seem to find it in the most unlikely of places. Oh well, I still enjoy reading this web serial and will continue to do so. No hatred, just differing opinions and preferences.

Honestly, if you replace Ryoka, Erin and Cara with men, you'd be fine with it. If you replaced any trans person with men, you'd be fine with it. The fact that gender, sex and identity trigger you like this, is repulsive. Why do you care so much? What do you even mean by "toxic strong independent female traits"? Do you even know what you're talking about with "modern wokeism influences"? People are trans. Women ARE strong. Your little world in your head where everyone is beneath men is just not how the world should or does work. Unbelievable.

I have to agree with this. No matter how much one disagrees with something, censure of free speech is the first step into tyranny. I do now know what exectly theiy wrote but it would be anti Trans. Thats their opinion and they should have a right to say it out loud. Just as people have the right to point out they are Trans. Free speech is a 2 way road and blocking any opinion that goes against your views, rather then arguing your point will just make these people hate trans even more. As for the topic these people argued about: I found it immersion breaking. I have nothing against Trans people, but the way they were inserted here in the story felt artificial. Unlike Salis /Onivia who did never break my immersion.

Fully agree. Salis/Onieva was never a problem. Neither was the issue of drakes being homophobic and the struggles of homosexuals in that society, none of those characters or circumstances felt out of place. It was well written and played a genuine part in the story. These Trans ghosts felt like a "latest new thing" sticker. I dont know if that's how it was intended however it definitely wasn't a smooth addition to the story.

The trans thing contributed nothing to the story or world, unlike Saliss. Realistically, it is forced and doesn't need to be in there. Just want to point out that this is my opinion and no one is required to agree/disagree/debate/care about it in any way. Also note that I am not saying anything against trans people, I simply don't care who people are, only that the story is good and it mostly is or I wouldn't be paying so much per month to see it continue.

We are eight volumes in at this point and turnscales have been a thing for a long, long time in the series as has the persecution of said group. There is a lot of that kind of thing. Hell one of the first things Erin experienced in Liscor was being cheated by a racist drake asshole who disliked her for being human. Saying that its something new for the series to take various postions on controversial topics is just dishonest.

On the contrary, its contributed a ton of depth to the drake race and its controversial standpoints. Its perfectly believable that the drake race would share the standpoint of most historical and current civilisations. I'm kinda tired of being told that anything controversial shouldn't be in {insert media} but its perfectly acceptable for those media to portray violence, rape, torture, war and death. But woe be me if two people love each other. That's not something the world can stomach.

Does it need to contribute to the story? Why can't it just be a neat thing that happens? Someone's life choices do not require an entire backstory in order to be shown.
