Random thoughts: What if someone from earth (transported to Inn world) is a big fan of the Canadian TV show - How It's Made, has all 32 seasons on a laptop, and lets Pelt watch them all. Mass production, maybe using simple golem machines, makes originally expensive items now cheap.
