There has been some controversy about Neo and her place in Be a Dragon. I personally think she's what the story needs, but if so many people are upset then there's probably a reason for it. So, this poll determines if Neo should be replaced with another girl or if it's just a vocal minority.

However, just to be clear, if the poll does vote yes and most of you want her replaced, then Be a Dragon will be put on a brief hiatus while I rewrite things and rework some plot elements. Also, if the poll does vote yes, I'll put up another poll that decides who she gets replaced with.

Neo's a fun character for a lot of things, but she feels a little out of place here, to be honest.

Neo is fun, but her Catwoman like presence could be replaced with Kitten, Jinx or Blackfire in universe.

Neo doesn’t have the fear/respect for the setting that Nero and Hinata do. She’s a little too reckless and her introduction was a little jarring. I don’t think that’s worth replacing her but if you do maybe Nora or Yang.

Nora and Yang would be even less suited, Nora in particular, without Ren would be like setting off a bomb in the middle of the city, and Yang, she'd go nuts about the fact that she'd probably never see Ruby ever again, Neo at least has nothing holding her to Remanent, other then vengeance, which can wait

What? Hell no. Hinat and the main character are really laid back. Add in Raven, and you have group of highly attractive doormats. You could maybe get the same effect with say, Yang, but not that conflict drive since she is still a whitehat. Focus on what the story needs and the way you want to tell it.

Who wants the sexiest character in RWBY removed?! Ignore those people, they have no taste in women. Not to mention, we need more villains on Nero's side, too much goody two shoes White knighting has been done to death in fiction. Someone who has no issues killing innocents is what we need to balance out the group

No, keep her in. Besides, if needs be, we can always smooth down her rougher edges after she's been thoroughly broken to Nero's cock.

honestly most of the complaints seem to be summed up with 'She's not my Waifu' /laugh and 'My Waifu would be a better fit, totally.'

I think the real general issue is how she's utterly incompatible with the other characters, and early survival in worlds like DCU or MCU. She's seemingly slowly being tamed to deal with that, but I think she will cause them troubles they couldn't realistically handle. Don't get me wrong, I don't condemn the authors decision. But I don't agree with it either.
